It is widely use of diesel generators, regional plains, plateaus, mountains, etc. where could not beaccess to main power, but the altitude is influence with the diesel generator.
 
As the altitude increases, the ambient temperature is also lower than the plain area. Generally increased by 10OOm, ambient temperature would drop about 5-6 ℃, also according to high altitude thin air, so the performance of diesel generators to start is worse than in the plain area. When the user using, the corresponding auxiliary starting measure for the cold starting should be taken.
 
Current of diesel generator output changes with altitude changing. As the altitude increases, the output current drops, and the fuel consumption rate rises, which effects the electrical performance.

2.less than 4,000 meters, the rated power reduce 4%, when altitude rise every 300 meters

oabove 25 ℃, the rated power reduce 3%, when ambient temperature increase every 5 ℃;
oabove 40 ℃, the rated power reduce 4%, when ambient temperature increase every 5 ℃;
4.below 5 ℃, the rated power reduce 3%, when ambient temperature reduce every 5 ℃, Meantime, generator must have air heaters, water jacket heater, diesel preheater, lubricant oil preheater, for low temperature starting.
